AIC Diaspora Area

New here?

Whether you arrived last week or ten years ago, there is a place for you here. Start with one of the steps below.

Your first steps

How we support members far from home

The Strategic Plan sets out how the Diaspora Area will care for its members:

  • Country and city fellowships where numbers and local conditions permit.
  • Regional online gatherings for members who are geographically isolated.
  • Annual or periodic physical conferences, retreats and family days.
  • Welcome and orientation for newly relocated members.
  • Member-care teams that maintain contact with isolated, elderly, sick or bereaved members.
  • Integration with sound host churches while preserving AIC identity and relationships.

Strategic Plan, Chapter 8

What we can and cannot help with

Immigration and transition support

AIC Diaspora Area does not provide legal or immigration advice. We can offer spiritual support, orientation and signposting to reputable, qualified professionals.

Welfare and benevolence support

Support is subject to approved criteria and available resources. It does not replace public services, and every decision is documented.

Protect yourself

Be cautious of anyone promising visas, work permits or fast results in exchange for money. Verify credentials before paying anyone.

Wherever they were scattered, they preached the word.
